Paul Harch, MD, Professor and Director of Hyperbaric Medicine at LSU Health New Orleans School of Medicine, and Edward Fogarty, MD, Chair of Radiology at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, will present details of the case of three-year-old Eden Carlson at the HBOT 2017 – 11th International Symposium on Friday, August 18, 2017, at 12:00 noon CDT. Eden’s story of drowning and recovery following hyperbaric oxygen therapy has been making headlines around the world. The scientific presentation, during which the Carlson family will be introduced, is scheduled on the opening day of the conference which, runs August 18-20, 2017, at the Intercontinental New Orleans, 444 St. Charles Avenue.

Other topics that will be presented include the use of hyperbaric medicine in traumatic brain injury, concussion, chronic neurological injury, sports injury, carbon monoxide poisoning, veterinary medicine and more. A complete agenda and speaker list are available online.

The conference will offer attendees the opportunity to interact with accredited hyperbaric fellowship and medical school faculty, as well as other health care professionals experienced in hyperbaric medicine.
